I watched the swearing in today on my computer at work while my lunch heated up. There were tvs and streaming video set up around the school for the staff and students. It's an overwhelmingly historic day. I don't think that all the student realize the significance of today. I think that's a good thing. Something that was unimaginable when I was their age, they are unfazed by.
I came home to an empty house. Brian is driving. I'm getting used to and enjoying the quiet. I will work on my tablecloth and rearrange a cupboard. The excitement never ends.
I heard from Jay today. He called to wish me a happy inauguration day and ask for banking advice. Eric and Adam are antsy with each other. I hope they can work it out. it would be best for everybody involved i think if they could work it out and find a way to be happy with each other. We'll see. Kelsie reached me on the computer. She seems happy.
I'm glued to the Inauguration coverage. Just wanting to witness part of the day. Lots of history being talked about which is fascinating.
