Kelsie was home over the weekend. We had Adam and Nicole here for supper Friday night as well.
I decided I'm sick of grocery shopping every week. So, Saturday morning I headed to Walmart with a huge list in hand. Brian cleared some shelves in the basement and I set up a pantry. I'm sick of running out of stuff and it took me two trips into WM to get everything on the list. There are a few more things to pick up, but it's an excellent start. It was kinda pricey, but I think a money saver in the end. I will make my grocery list from things missing from the pantry and things I jot down during the week. I hope to only go to the IGA for milk and bread. We've been buying all our meat at Naples and freezing it. It's a treat to have everything on hand. I never had the room or money to do it when the kids were little.
Brian has done a wonderful job cleaning up the basement. It looks great and he has a new work bench.
Kelsie is staying in Bangor this week and coming home next while Errol goes snowmaching with his dad. We're planning something with Nancy while she's here.
Work is going ok. It has it's ups and downs. Kelsie got her rebate check from the college, but it wasn't as much as she'd hoped for. They sent some of the loan money back. but, she'll be fine.
It's supposed to snow two feet today, so I took a vacation day and stayed home. Brian and I will clean up snow when he gets home. In the meantime, I'm going to work on my tablecloth and keep the cats company.
